Politics and Peace
Initiative
Internal politics often affects
the stability not only of one
nation but of an entire region.
Likewise, foreign policy decisions
and relations with neighboring
states have a profound impact
on the home front. That politics
should have the goal of promoting
peace at home and abroad is
far from being a generally accepted
truth in this region still in
transition; nonetheless, it
is a principle tenet of EICEE
and the goal of this vital program.
