The Future of a Free Taiwan
April 20, 2006
Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs
Prague, Czech Republic

Global politics has made the future of Taiwan a critical issue for Europe from many perspectives. The goal of the seminar is to evaluate the threat of communist China to her neighbors, especially to a free and democratic Taiwan.  Participants will deliberate about the proper policy of the Free World towards mainland China.

Among the confirmed participants, the Civic Institute welcomes Mr. Martin Hala, a sinologist and journalist, now at the University of Hong Kong, and Mr. Rudolf Furst, an expert at the Institute of International Relations.
